This is a typical example of the islamic approach to all issues that dont go their way. Violence and oppression! If their out of date philosophies are so great, surely they would not have to adopt such effort and force to sustain it or convince others of its validity. Like all truths in history, would it not be accepted as “self evident” to the masses if it were so effective for the evolution, be it spiritual or otherwise of mankind.There is not one economically stable islamic country in the world. That says something. Sure we should listen to them? Let alone adopt their dated ideas which emloy cruelty and oppression across the board? To be fair it is not all bad, and in its original unaltered form has much in the way of good to it. However, in practice many of these people(islamic ruled) and the laws that rule their lands appear to have little or no respect for human life, and yet call this approach the will of god. If they only knew that such actions are an insult to god. God is within all people.
They will pay a heavy karmic price when they awake from their dillusions in the next life only to realise the true weight of being a conduit to the barbaric and anamalistic actions that they were a part of against their brothers. Realising that instead of being creative, authentic human beings and choosing to make a difference in the world for the better for their brothers and sisters (humanity as a whole),They were enslaved by false beliefs that were fear based by derrivation. Brainwashed by what is true evil to believe the out of context interpretation of the Koran, an insult even to its author. Realisation of the oneness of all things and some education would be in order for these cruel, violent cultures that bring a stain on humanity and hamper the evolution of mankind. This is a cross we must all bear together unfortunately. For we are all one.

Replying to Ben’s response, I think you might have forgotten Dubai, Saudi, Qatar…just some of the countries which are much more economically stable than most countries. Also yes Iran does have a Barbaric past & some sentences are harsh, the holy Quran does not tell us to bring such violence though it does say you should be punished badly for sins like rape, murder etc. What you need to remember is in countries like Iran, they have law an order. They have less killings etc than countries a lot of the western countries. Every morning I am reading the papers another “teenager” has been stabbed to death, another innocent person has died to a druggie attacking. Most of these people do a couple of years for killing someone! What have they got to lose? If we had the death sentence back & for killing someone with evidence you should get a full 30 years. Not be told you have got 30 years an you only have to do 10! Anyway I know this is wrong but these sort of killing stopped a long time back.
